The iPad and Home Automation

Apple's latest release, the iPad, will have a major impact and gain tremendous influence in the smart home control and home automation system market. With its very affordable price point, especially when compared with the manufacturer's touch screens, it serves as a flawlessly designed interface to a smart home system.


Most manufacturers in the home automation industry rely on small time or OEM vendors to design and manufacturer their tablet and touch screens. These screens are buggy, have design flaws and are generally very over-priced.

While some manufacturers like Crestron do have unique features (such as HD video) on their panels, the price points are just too high.

Manufacturers such as HAI already have their integration software on the market and here at Mezuri Systems we already tested it. Amazing! This is all besides all the other features that the iPad offers.
